BARMAX UBE REVIEW COURSE!
As I’ve mentioned, I used BarMax to pass the DC UBE in 2017 while working full-time and highly recommend them. In fact, several of my Blessed & Barred® Christian Bar Exam Coaching Program clients have used BarMax and love it as well! Here are five reasons why I recommend BarMax:
1. They take out the fluff. They don’t send hundreds and hundreds of pages of outlines for one subject like other Bar prep companies, which can be overwhelming. Instead, they give you what you need to know in a digestible format and keep it moving, which is especially important for people who don’t have time to study 8-12 hours a day. Which brings me to my next point.
2. They don’t expect you to have 8-hour study days every day. Their recommended three-month study schedule is about 15-25 hours per week according to this website, something totally doable if you are studying while working full-time. I probably studied about 30 hours/week with BarMax. I attribute my ability to pass a second Bar exam while working full-time, looking for jobs, serving on the Pastor Search Committee, and still having a social life (including weekly dates :)) to BarMax’s streamlined materials and study schedule. P.S. You can read more about how I did that here.
3. They offer regular office hours and helpful webinars. In fact, if you’ve looked around the Grace for the Grind® Bar Exam Resource Library, you’ve seen some of the replays of their webinars on strategies for the MBE, MEE, MPT, civil procedure, etc.
4. They offer instant and lifetime access to their Bar prep program, which also has a mobile app so you can study on the go. This is HUGE if you want to get a head start on studying or may need to take another Bar exam in the future. Most Bar prep companies only give you access to the course for a few months during a certain time period, which can make it hard to study on a timeline that works better for you if you are not the traditional first-time Bar exam taker. So, BarMax is ahead of the game with this feature.
5. BarMax is a socially responsible company. The founder of BarMax is the son of immigrant parents (shoutout to fellow first-generation Americans!) and after the events of summer 2020, launched an initiative where they will “sponsor 1,000 future lawyers over the course of the next 5 years through [their] comprehensive Justice In Action program that will help the next generation of lawyers from underrepresented populations as they pursue legal careers.” The program will provide pre-law students with LSAT prep and law school application assistance, 1L course, job assistance, and Bar exam prep. https://testmaxprep.com/blog/justice-in-action
So, I am happy to promote BarMax because not only do I truly believe in the company since I used it to pass a Bar exam myself and have recommended it to others who passed, but they also believe in us and have shown that through their actions.
