“When I approached Roberta to help me with one of my job applications I never expected the kind of support that she provided. After I gave her an overview of my goals, she seemed to already have the answers to some of my questions before I could even ask. She took the time to hear my concerns and areas I wanted to improve on. She then, in a thoughtful and organized fashion, began to discuss with me my ideas and how I could maximize on the experiences I have already established. Roberta also provided me with resources so that I could follow up on what we discussed during our session. She was supportive but not coddling, giving me realistic advice on how to put forth my strengths to become one of the best candidates going into my job application process.
On a spiritual level, Roberta spoke kind and encouraging words into my soul. She reminded me that God has a plan, and that His plan is always greater than we could ever imagine. It is comforting to know that someone who loves God with her whole heart is in my corner, helping me to reach my career goals while encouraging me to stick to my biblical principles through a difficult process. Roberta being accessible to assist and mentor me is divine intervention.
I will continue to seek coaching and guidance through Roberta as I push forward in my career. She is knowledgeable, resourceful, committed, and an answered prayer in my life, professionally and spiritually.”

Spiritual growth areas include (but are not limited to):
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he . . .” – Proverbs 23:7. The Bible tells us how important our thought life and mindset is to shaping our reality and how we feel and what we experience, so we’ll explore your current mindset and limiting beliefs and how we can overcome them through Biblical truth, affirmations, and declarations.
I’ve supervised nearly a dozen law student interns and have received high performance reviews at work and internships, so I know what supervisors are looking for in an intern/employee, and how to find out what they are looking for. We can discuss the following and more:
One of the most important things you can do in life, because then you will be living a fulfilled and abundant life! We can do some exercises and get an action plan going to make sure you don’t let anything keep you from what you were created to do on this Earth for God’s people!
With Christ you are more than a conqueror. Romans 8:37. You are beloved. See, e.g., 1 John 3:1. You are heir to God’s Kingdom! Romans 8:17. So let’s get into how you can start acting like it! 🙂

The Maxwell Method of DISC takes a unique approach to DISC as it focuses on your behavior style and personality type as it specifically relates to leadership. The 30-page results report also includes insights and recommended next steps specific to John Maxwell teachings. Additionally, DISC assessment results may change over time depending on what is going on in your life at the time you take the assessment, so it is best to take an updated assessment even if you have taken one before. Lastly, the Maxwell Method Biblical DISC training workshop is another resource specific to the Maxwell Method of DISC, so this is going to be a different experience from any other one with DISC you have had before!
Aside from God’s grace and giftings :), I am a certified Christian life coach and certified leadership coach with the John Maxwell Team, and certified Maxwell Method DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant. I am also on the Board of Trustees at my church, and did a stint as a professional resume writer for a popular top resume writing company. Some of my accomplishments while attending The George Washington University Law School include the following:
After law school, I passed two bar exams on the first try (including one bar exam I studied for while working full-time and job searching). In my current role as an attorney, I have supervised 10+ legal interns, serve in a team lead capacity on a team of 10 attorneys, train new attorneys, conducted dozens of interviews for both intern and attorney positions, and consistently received outstanding performance evaluations. All while overcoming obstacles through God’s grace, peace, and supernatural understanding — and I would love to help you do the same!
Mentoring is based on the mentor sharing experiences, giving advice, and sometimes telling you what to do and how to do it. Coaching involves asking you thought-provoking questions, empowering you to find answers within yourself (and in the Christian context, answers within yourself through the help of the Holy Spirit). A coach is unbiased, not trying to urge you one way or the other, like a friend or family member might try to do when giving advice, and is genuinely interested in helping you fulfill what is right for you.
In a way, coaching is kind of like the Socratic method in law school — but when I ask you questions on the spot you don’t have to be scared you’ll get the law wrong or didn’t brief the case! You’ll be in a judgement-free zone and the answers will be within. No hours-long study sessions or briefing cases required! 🙂
In this program, I would alternate between the two roles of coach and mentor when you give permission to switch from coaching to mentoring.
L.I.F.E. in this context stands for Long-term career, Influence as a leader, Faith walk with God, and Empowerment of yourself and others. I created this program because I felt like there are women of God who want to “level up” their lives in these areas but want trusted guidance for how to do so. So, this program is designed to help you feel like you have leveled up in your career, leadership ability, spiritual growth, and self-empowerment and capacity to empower others.
Because being successful in a high-stress career requires hard work and you can get caught up in the hustle and grind of it all, so you need some of God’s grace to not be so hard on yourself, take some of the pressure off, and rely on God instead of on yourself to succeed in your grind. “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16.
You may receive a full refund if you do not receive any value after getting your personalized Maxwell Method of DISC report, attending or watching the Biblical DISC training workshop, and completing the five-week leadership development program. Each of these things is worth more than the investment on its own and has already garnered results for others, so I am confident in offering this refund policy — you won’t need it!
You have been uniquely created for a purpose far greater than yourself — that’s why the tugging feeling you feel is so pronounced. The positive, life-changing results in yours and other people’s lives that comes from you walking in your God-given purpose won’t happen until you dig deep within and invest in your personal growth and development.
That’s what I’m here to help you do! I have invested money into coaching and mentorship for myself (I wouldn’t ask you to do something I wouldn’t do ;)), and having my skin in the game by investing a pretty penny really helped keep me accountable and consistent. You wouldn’t let something you bought for a price go to waste, right?! Just as God looks at you being so valuable that He bought you for a price with Jesus’s death on the cross (“for the wages of sin is death” – Romans 6:23) and doesn’t want you to let your gifts and talents go to waste, you too should want to put in the necessary work to receive the value of your gifts and talents and not let them go to waste. The people you were called to serve need you!
But don’t worry! Our time together won’t be all work and no play! 😉 We’ll laugh, pray, rejoice, and reflect on how far you’ve come and how much more greatness lies ahead! I so look forward to hearing from you and working with you, and the Lord delights to see the work begin! See Zechariah 4:10. <3
Love and blessings,
Roberta
